Hi guys! We just had a very interesting lesson on a Singapore war heroine on someone I think we all know called Elizabeth Choy. Well, I think some of us who listened during social studies....... I did!
The video was really interesting. I was shocked at how brutally she was treated by the Japanese though. I also think she was pretty beautiful. I think she deserves those medals she got as she was a really caring mother, wife and teacher. I admire her bravery as she did not say anything even though she was electricuted.She was accused of sabotaging a Japanese oporation,probally falsefully,but we will never know.Though I find her lifelong fear of electrical suppliances stupid. I also admire her for her mercy in not naming the people who tortured her. So this is all now. Hope to be able to write soon!
